Dennis provides legal, legislative, and strategic services to clients affected by local, state, or federal policy, legislation or regulation. Dennis’ legal and advocacy capabilities are drawn from years of experience with government processes and his ability to understand and communicate with government officials and non-governmental stakeholders and constituencies.
Work Experience
Prior to forming Kearney, Donovan & McGee, P.C., Dennis managed the government practice group at Choate, Hall & Stewart, and served as President of Kearney & Gleason, P.C. Dennis has served in local, state, and county government including 12 years in elected office as a member of the Massachusetts Legislature and as Sheriff of Suffolk County.
Civic Engagement
Dennis serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Council. He is also active in various business, civic, and alumni associations, and engages with political and charitable causes.
