Michelle McGee has more than 20 years of experience representing a wide variety of clients at the local, state and federal levels. Michelle develops strategies to successfully advocate for clients regarding legislative and budget related initiatives. She provides procurement advice and assistance as well as guidance in coalition building.
Work Experience
Before co-founding Kearney, Donovan & McGee, P.C., Michelle was a member of the government practice group of Choate, Hall & Stewart. Prior to this, she worked with New England Electric (now National Grid), and before that she was counsel to a legislative committee for the Massachusetts House of Representatives and an associate at the firm of Joyce & Joyce.
Civic Engagement
Michelle is active in various civic and charitable causes, and local political campaigns. She is currently on the Board of the Women’s Lunch Place, the Board of the Massachusetts Association of Mental Health and the Charlestown YMCA. She previously served on the Women’s Network Advisory Board of the Boston Chamber of Commerce.
